Statement of Faith
We
believe in one God. He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Creator
of all things.
We believe that the Bible is the
Holy Spirit inspired Word of God, that it reveals His love plan for a
hurting world, and that it is the infallible standard by which we
measure faith and conduct.
We believe that the Lord Jesus
Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
We believe that Jesus came as God
in the flesh, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected,
ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the
Father. He is true God and true man.
We believe in personal salvation
(deliverance, healing, prosperity and protection) for all who will
confess the Lordship of Jesus and believe in their heart that He is
raised from the dead.
We believe that Jesus shed His
blood in order that we may be pardoned and set free from sin.
We believe in water
baptism, in the
baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, in speaking
with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the
Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We
believe that all of these are
available to all believers.
We believe in sanctification
through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and in personal
holiness, and purity of heart and life.
We
believe there is only one true
Church ? the body of Christ.
We believe in the strength of the
local church, where the family of saints are planted and established in
God?s wisdom, in knowledge of Him and His ways, and in understanding of
His Kingdom principles.
We believe in the great commission
to reach the world with the Gospel.
We believe that true believers are
empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the works of Jesus Christ today.
We believe that Jesus
Christ is the
same, yesterday, today, and forever.
We believe in miracles! |
